Artist MOMO's London Street Art
We at Hookedblog were up early yesterday morning to catch up with American artist MOMO who was in town on a brief stopover en route back to his new studio base in New Orleans.
MOMO's London Street Art
Artist MOMO had traveled from Lisbon, Portugal where he had been creating work as part of the third phase of the Crono project which to date has seen impressive large-scale works from artists Os Gemeos, Erica il cane, Lucy McLauchlan, ARM, BLU, and SAM3.
Braving the cold London weather we headed out with our camera to capture the artist as he hit up a spot he had found the previous day on Old Bethnal Green Road.

With a bucket of paste and a scalpel in hand, MOMO just had time to leave us with one of his colourful signature abstract pieces before heading to the airport to catch his return flight.
In other MOMO news check out the artist's second zine in his Marker Drawing Zine which has been released on his website.
The zine is a 38-page, black & white zine, 5.5″ x 8.5″ numbered edition of 200. Made in Miami in 2011 and available for only $5 from MOMO's Show Place shop. Don't hang about as the first one went quick.
