C215 hits the streets of Dublin, Ireland
We featured a number of C215's stunning portrait stencil work from London last week on the blog. The French street artist stopped over in London en route to Dublin for the OFFSET2012 creative festival in the Irish capital.
Hookedblog founder Mark Rigney was also invited over to speak on one of the discussion panels at the festival, hosted by King Adz along with Irish artist Conor Harrington, Evan Hecox, VON, and of course French street artist Christian Guémy aka C215.
The French artist kept us entertained during the OFFSET panel discussion, which covered everything from the roles of social media in street art, artists working with brands, and advertising agencies as well as a conversation about some of the rituals the street artists follow when creating their artworks in the studio and the street.
C215's Dublin Street Art
—
While in Dublin, street artist C215 took some time out from the OFFSET conference and installed ten to twelve Dublin street art stencil works across the capital.
We had a small window of free time away from the conference and hit the Dublin streets with our cameras to hunt for some of the new stencil works. In the short time we had we managed to discover four of the new multi-layered stencil pieces by the artist which we have included in this post.
To see the entire set of C215's Dublin Street Art, we suggest heading over to C215's flickr photo account to see the entire set of works.
