The countdown has begun to the opening of this year's edition of Fame Festival 2012 in our favorite southern Italian town, Grottaglie. Now in it's fifth year the street art festival curated by Angelo Milano of Studiocromie is looking set to be another fantastic year at the festival and one certainly not to be missed.

It's been two years since Hookedblog was last in Grottaglie and we are super excited to be returning this weekend for the Fame Festival opening exhibition party on the 22nd of September 2012. We were unable to attend the festival last year due to other commitments, so we are really looking forward to this visit and seeing not just this year's large-scale street art pieces but all of the outdoor work from last year that we missed.



Once again Angelo has curated an impressive lineup of international street artists and this year's edition will include street and studio works from the following:

Fame Festival takes place in the town of GROTTAGLIE, located between two southern Italian airports Bari and Brindisi both of which Ryanair fly to from London. There is more info and directions on the Fame Festival website should anyone decide to visit. We will be there all weekend so come and say hello if you make it over. We will also be photographing everything so expect lots of Fame Festival photos and a full report on our return.
