Neochrome Skull Mural by London Street Artist Fanakapan
London-based artist Fanakapan recently completed work on a new piece on a set of gates along the Regents Canal in east London. He has previously painted another set of gates with Snoppy and Woodstock characters in a piece Fanakapan named Woodstock Got High which we have previous featured on the site.
The new piece is just a few doors down from the Snoopy work along the same street. We ran into the artist by chance while hitting a coffee spot nearby after shooting some new works by French artist Ludo also in the neighborhood.
Follow our Hookedblog Pinterest Boards for even more Street Art.
Featuring a neochrome skull rendered in a multi-colored palette the artist was making use of his stock of leftover / half-filled cans of spray paint for the piece.
Check out some of the images below of the new work and if you have not already seen it take a look at the Woodstock Got High mural. Should you want to see the two Fanakapan murals you can find them located along the canal on Canal Walk in East London.
The completed Fankapan wall was painted on a set of metal gates in Haggerston in East London picture above.
