Dan Kitchener Beautiful London Geisha Street Art
Essex based street artist Dan Kitchener returned to East London over the weekend to spray paint a new mural on Commercial Street close to Spitalfields Market.
With the easing of the UK Government’s lockdown restrictions, Kitchener has had a busy month which has seen him making a return to painting murals outdoors on the streets, with new street art murals in London, Rochford, and Cheltenham.

The start of June saw street art Dan Kitchener returning to one of his favorite East London spots, the ever-changing feature wall of the Kinkao Korean restaurant that runs along the path leading to the Allen Gardens, just off Brick Lane, London. We have previously seen Dan Kitchener’s London mural work on this wall when he painted it on New Years' day in 2018 with his Ghost Cities Mural and again on New Years Day in 2019.
His most recent mural at this popular location and pictured above sees a large scale black and white mural with some small hints of colour, inspired by a trip he took to Moscow in 2019.

The second of the three new mural works is again another location the street artist has painted multiple times. The smallest of the three new murals, this artwork is located right on Brick Lane, just around the corner from the Moscow inspired Pedley Street mural. The latest London street art mural by Kitchener is the third he has painted in East London this month. While we were exploring the new works around Brick Lane and Shoreditch we stumbled upon Dan Kitchener at work, putting the finishing touches to his newest mural titled 'Omoide Yokocho'.
According to Kitchener, he has wanted to paint the narrow dark alleyways of Tokyo's' Omoide Yokocho for some time in London.

He says, 'this was the right wall at the right time! I love the feel of a window into Tokyo, another world on a normal London street. A beautiful geisha gliding down the steamy, neon-lit street. Bringing one of my favorite cities to everyone as we all can’t travel'.
